Enrolling at Millwarra Primary School
At Millwarra Primary School, we welcome new families and look forward to supporting your child’s transition into our vibrant learning community. Whether you’re enrolling your child in Prep or another year level, we’re here to guide you through the process and answer any questions along the way.
Enrolling for Prep in 2026
If your child is starting primary school in 2026, they must turn five years old by 30 April 2026. Schooling is compulsory for children who have turned six years old.
How to Apply for Prep Enrolment
- Contact Millwarra Primary School and speak with our team to learn more about our programs and the enrolment process.
- Enrolments Packs are available for collection from our school office
- Submit your application – Send your completed enrolment application to the school by Friday 25 July 2025.
- Receive your enrolment outcome – Families will be notified between Monday 28 July and Friday 8 August 2025. If offered a place, please confirm your acceptance by Friday 22 August 2025.
- Prepare for transition – Families and students will be invited to participate in our Prep Transition Program during Term 4, 2025.
Missed the application deadline?
Applications received after 25 July 2025 will be processed as they arrive, in line with the Department of Education’s Placement Policy.

Enrolling in Grades 1–6
We accept enrolments throughout the year for Years 1–6. If you’re considering transferring to Millwarra Primary School, please contact our school office for information on the enrolment process.

Required Documents for Enrolment
To complete the enrolment process, you will need to provide:
Completed Enrolment Form
Proof of identity and date of birth (e.g. Birth Certificate or Passport)
Immunisation Status Certificate
Proof of Address (Three documents required, e.g. rates notice, utility bill, lease agreement)
Alternative Family Enrolment Form (if your child resides between two households)
