Parent Involvement

At Millwarra Primary School, we value and encourage strong partnerships between home and school, knowing that parent involvement plays a vital role in student success and community spirit. We have an open-door policy and offer many ways for parents to participate in their child’s learning journey.

Ways to Get Involved

Parents can contribute in various ways, including:

• Assisting as Parent Helpers in classrooms
• Joining the Fundraising and Event Planning Committee
• Participating in School Council
• Supporting excursions and camps
• Helping with class and whole school events

We understand that every family’s availability is different, and we appreciate any time and support parents can offer. The dedication of our parent community is a key part of what makes Millwarra Primary School such a wonderful place to learn and grow.

Fundraising and Event Planning Committee

Our active Fundraising and Event Planning Committee meets twice each term with the Principal to organise social and fundraising events that enrich our school community. Everyone is welcome to join and contribute!
